Effective date: 10 June 2026 · Operated by Arcanum Verum LLC ("we"). This page explains, in plain language, what data the Lake Como Secrets website handles. Outside the fiction, we take this seriously.
Your investigation progress — discovery points, recovered codes, rank, language preference, and an anonymous identifier — is stored in your browser's localStorage. It stays on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your progress (points, codes count, rank, language) is transmitted to our database together with a random identifier and an auto-generated codename (e.g., "NEBBIA-47"). This contains no name, no email, no precise location, and cannot reasonably identify you. It powers the Top Investigators ranking. You can switch it off below — the site works fully without it.
If you submit your email address to receive briefings, it is processed by MailerLite (our email service provider) together with your rank and points at the time of signup. We use it to send you updates about Lake Como Secrets. Every email contains an unsubscribe link. We never sell or share your email.
Transmission videos are hosted on this site. Optional "Watch on YouTube" links lead to YouTube (Google), which applies its own privacy policy once you leave this site.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of any data associated with your email or sync identifier. Write to: privacy@lakecomosecrets.com. EU residents may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.
This experience is intended for ages 14 and up. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14.
We will update this file as the investigation infrastructure evolves. Material changes will be noted on this page.
